STAMFORD, Conn., June 12, 2007 -- Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) has been recognized for its commitment to diversity and named among the "2007 Best Companies for Diversity" by Black Enterprise magazine. Xerox was also named among the 15 best companies in senior management and corporate board diversity, and the company ranked among the top 30 percent of respondents in supplier diversity. Xerox has been on Black Enterprise's "Best Companies for Diversity" list since its 2005 inception. |

To develop its third annual list, Black Enterprise editors evaluated more than 1,000 companies according to several criteria, including supplier diversity and representation of "ethnic minorities" across the employee base, within senior management, and on the board of directors. The term "ethnic minorities" pertained to African Americans, Native American/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander and Hispanic/Latino. Information about women, gays, lesbians, transsexuals and the disabled was used as secondary criteria. Only 40 companies were included on the "Best Companies" list. |

In examining the data, Black Enterprise focused on: percentage of total procurement spending allocated to African Americans and other ethnic groups minority executive representation as a percentage of all senior management positions, including corporate offices, diversity of the board of directors; and percentage of minority employees as a percentage of total employee base. |
