Clarabridge Wins Stevie® Award in Fifth Annual American Business Awards

Clarabridge Product Development Team Honored for Innovation in Commercialized Text Mining
Reston, Va. - June 12, 2007 -- Clarabridge, a text analysis software company, won a Stevie Award in The 2007 American Business Awards last night. Clarabridge earned Best Product Development Team for rolling out the company’s revolutionary Content Mining Platform (CMP) solution—the industry’s first complete solution for enabling a company’s general business users to quickly, easily convert internal and external source data into useful business intelligence.

Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” (New York Post, April 27, 2005), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business. Stevie Awards were presented in more than 40 categories last night. More than 2,000 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration. Ping Identity Corp, Sourcefire and VerticalResponse joined Clarabridge as finalists for Best Product Development Team.

“This award reflects our team’s tremendous creativity, energy, and commitment to execute in a challenging and dynamic market,” said Gene Sohn, vice president of engineering, who accepted the award for Clarabridge last night. “We are gratified at the industry's recognition of our team's achievements this past year. I strongly believe our team is one of Clarabridge's greatest assets as we move forward.”

“Having our product-development team recognized by the American Business Awards is a great honor and a testament to their achievements,” said Sid Banerjee, co-founder and chief executive officer of Clarabridge. “Our product-development team was recognized for the delivery of our Content Mining Platform, and Gene and his team continue to develop new products and services that meet the needs of our customer base.”

Nicknamed the “Stevies” for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York. Larry Wilmore of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart hosted the event, which was videocast live on the Internet and broadcast nationwide on radio. The elegant Stevie trophy was designed by R. S. Owens, the same company that makes the Oscar® and the Emmy. Details about The American Business Awards and the list of Finalists and Stevie Award winners are available at www.stevieawards.com/aba.
